The graphically ingratiating snowboarding title that helped launch the original Xbox console hits the slopes for a third time in this launch release for Xbox 360. Designed to portray an authentic experience of snowboarding culture, Amped 3 casts the player as a member of a group of young amateur boarders, each with a well-developed personality and distinct snowboarding style. The game plays out in re-creations of famous real-world resorts, and features a soundtrack of more than 300 pop and alternative songs.

Left Thumbstick = steer, spin, butter
Right Thumbstick = look camera
D-Pad = change music tracks, toggle snowball mode
A Button = crouch, jump
B Button = end crash
Y Button = eject from sled
A, B, X or Y Button = trick
Right Bumper = modify aerial trick, bonk rail
Right Trigger = power carve right, spin on rails
Left Bumper = modify aerial trick, bonk rail
Left Trigger = power carve left, spin on rails
Left + Right Trigger = speed tuck
Start Button = pause menu
