How to buy

The search bar allows you to search for items many different ways. Use the drop-down tools to select the search method best for you:

• Search Buy CDs by Artists/Album: Type in a few keywords from the Artist and/or Title. It is not necessary to type in every word.
• Example: Type BEATLES to get all items with BEATLES in the artist or title.
• Example: Type BEATLES ABBEY to get The Beatles “Abbey Road”
• Search Buy CDs by Song: Type in a few words from the song title.
• Search Buy DVDs by Title: Type in a few words from the title.
• Search Buy DVDs by Actor/Director
• Search Buy Games by Title: Type in a few words from the title.
• Items in the shopping cart will be emptied after 90 minutes. Be sure to place your order within the 90 minute time frame.

Once you find the item you wish to buy, add it to your cart by clicking on the BUY IT button, and you can then search for the next item.

After you have added all of your items to your shopping cart, click the CHECKOUT button. You will be asked for your email address & password. If you do not have an account, click on REGISTER NOW to enter your personal information and create one (you will not lose your cart). You may choose to receive Special Promotions and Freebies. You will receive the latest promotional offers before they are posted on our site, Be sure to enter your shipping address carefully, after you have placed your order you will be unable to make changes to the order. This included updates to your shipping address. Standard shipping will be sent USPS. If you do not have a mail receptacle be sure to enter a PO Box.

After you have logged in, you will see a summary of the items that you wish to buy. Verify your shipping and billing information.

If you have a promo code, enter it in the appropriate space and hit the APPLY button. Verify that the promo code has been applied to your order. We are unable to apply a promo code after you have clicked the PLACE ORDER.

If everything looks correct, click on PLACE ORDER to complete the transaction. Please take a minute to review your order first – once you hit the PLACE ORDER button, you cannot go back and make changes. The next screen will show your order number. Print this out for reference. After you have placed your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. If you have not received the order confirmation in about 10 minutes contact customer service to verify that your order has been placed.

We are unable take special orders or requests. Since we carry only used product, our inventory is controlled by what people sell to us. If we took special orders, we would have many requests for the same product and would be unable to fill all those orders. To get those titles you really want, try our Personal Favorites feature. You may add anything you are looking for on the Personal Favorites page. Just log in to your account and add artists, CDs, DVDs or Games. You can even search by your favorite actor or director. Any items that we have in stock will be shown when you click on CHECK YOUR PERSONAL FAVORITES. You can even add items directly to your cart by clicking BUY IT.

Payment

We accept the following methods of payment:

• Gift Certificates purchased on SecondSpin.com
• Gift Cards purchased at any of our SecondSpin.com retail stores
• Your credit card will not be charged until your order is ready to ship.
• We cannot accept any other method of payment.
• Our parent company has many retail outlets nationwide. We are now required to charge sales tax in these states on all orders.

Shipping

We can ship your order worldwide. International orders for CDs ship without jewel cases, in order to keep costs down. Movies ship with cases or sleeves. Please consult our Shipping Chart for rates to your address. Standard shipping for all orders are shipped USPS with a delivery time of 1-3 weeks. We also offer Expedited shipping (4-7 business days) and Rush (2-4 Business Days). The time frames indicated are after your order has shipped. We do not offer Overnight Shipping.
